YetAnother Timer is a utility application to keep track of how much time you spend on your computer. YetAnother Timer requires System 7.0 or later.
When you launch by double-clicking, YetAnother Timer a small, draggable timer window appears under the Trash. Selecting "Begin Session" from the File menu starts the timer. The blue numbers, on top, time the current session, while the red numbers, below, record cumulative time. Selecting "End Session" from the File menu turns the timer off. Selecting "Quit" terminates the current session time and saves cumulative time. Selecting "Clear" terminates your session and sets cumulative time to zero. If "AutoClear" is checked, cumulative time will automatically be zeroed on the first of every month. This is handy, for example, if you are billed by your internet provider by monthly usage and you want to keep track of how much internet time you have used in the current month.
If you need to keep track of cumulative time for several activities, keep a few, individually named copies of YetAnother Timer in a folder and track each activity on its own copy. Each copy only uses about 20 K of Hard Drive memory.
YetAnother Timer is discetionary shareware. If you find that you use it a lot and feel like sending money (say $5), by all means do so. If you feel like sending a nice letter or postcard, do that. If you want to send a shareware product of your own, please do! If you don't feel like sending anything, don't send anything. There are no annoying registration dialog boxes full of accusatory language getting in your face or anything like that.
